Look out Maryland … Kate Gosselin is movin’ on up.
The mom of eight is buying a luxury condo in Rockville, a posh part of Montgomery County, Md.
RadarOnline.com reported that “Kate will live in the new condo, which is located in Rockville Town Square, when she’s not sharing parenting duties for her eight kids with her soon-to-be ex-husband, Jon.”
So while the kids remain in their Wernersville home, the other takes off to their individual sleazy single dwelling.
According to Google Maps, the distance is 81 miles from Wernersville to her new pad.
That’s quite a distance to travel if an emergency should arise.
“Where’s mommy?”
“Sorry, she’s a few states over. Ask Daddy.”
Bodyguard and alleged lover Steve Neild’s office is right around the corner.
Coincidence?
It’s unlikely she needs protection that badly that she has to reside two miles from her bodyguard and his wife.
And last time I checked, New York or L.A. are the hot spots for her many business ventures.
Although the Discovery Channel offices, parent company to TLC, are located in Maryland, I don’t see how that figures in to the move.
Unless Kate’s PR team have some damage control plans in the works, as they need to rebuild her image and viewership for the show’s return in August.
All of her other projects are on hold or dead in the water, so “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ is all she’s banking on at this point.
And bank they will need, with all their new housing additions.
Maybe she and Jon should put off buying swanky apartments in Maryland and Manhattan until they see how the divorce shakes out.
Just a thought.
